1. Booking and Payment
A) booking is not confirmed until Cornwall Waverunner Safaris have taken bank card details to secure the date and time and to protect us from “no shows”
b) Until a booking is confirmed by Cornwall Waverunner Safaris all bookings are regarded as provisional
c) The full balance is due on the activity date, unless with prior written agreement with Cornwall Waverunner Safaris.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
- Should you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before the booking time full payment will be taken from the bank card details held by Cornwall Waverunner Safaris
- Should you arrive late for your activity without notifying Cornwall Waverunner Safaris at least 2 hours prior to your activity, your activity will be cancelled with no refund.
- Should the weather and/or sea conditions be unsuitable on the day for Jetski activities, Cornwall Waverunner Safaris will endeavour to provide alternative activities at the clients discretion or to offer an alternative future date.
A) All Jetski sessions and safari sessions are staffed by qualified Instructors. Instructor to client ratios are in accordance with RYA Regulations guidelines. Whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to deliver all activity sessions as sold, Cornwall Waverunner Safaris reserves the right to cancel or modify any session due to safety requirements or factors beyond our control.
4. Liability and Insurance
a) Cornwall Waverunner Safaris holds public liability cover.
b) Cornwall Waverunner Safaris provide activities, which can be dangerous and all participants must be aware and accept this
c) All parties must read and sign a participation form stating their understanding of the potential danger to themselves arising from participating in any Cornwall Waverunner Safaris activity and stating any health condition which could potentially impact upon the safety and wellbeing of the participant. Responsibility for injury or illness arising from any of the activities will not be accepted unless due to negligence on our part.
All parties must read and sign a participation form stating their understanding that Cornwall Waverunner Safaris accepts no responsibility for damage/loss of personal property whilst at Cornwall Waverunner Safaris.
5. Health and Safety/Conduct
a) Due to the nature of the activities at Cornwall Waverunner Safaris, all participants should be physically fit. Anyone with a medical condition must seek medical advice before considering participating.
They must also make a Cornwall Waverunner Safaris activity instructor aware of their condition, and present the instructor with a Doctors certificate stating their ability to take part in the activity. Cornwall Waverunner Safaris Instructors have the final say on whether an individual is fit to take part in an activity.
b) Contact lenses and glasses are permitted to be worn but should be secured with a string.The wearer must accept full responsibility for any injury or loss sustained before, during or after a session.
c) Participants will not be permitted to consume alcohol or drugs prior to or during any activity sessions.
Cornwall Waverunner Safaris instructors reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund will be given.
d) The Cornwall Waverunner Safaris staff may require any participant to leave the activity session without compensation if that person acts in such a manner as to endanger him/herself or any other Cornwall Waverunner Safaris staff or any other beach user.
e) Cornwall Waverunner Safaris reserves the right to restrict the provision of activities and services if the management deem an individual or groups behaviour to not be in keeping with the atmosphere or ethos of the centre. This includes but
is not limited to bad language, inappropriate attire, aggressive behaviour and intoxication.
6. Equipment and Clothing
a) For safety reasons, all participants must wear the appropriate equipment provided by Cornwall Waverunner Safaris. Participants may wear their own wetsuits as long as they are suitable for the activity undertaken. Damage to or loss of Cornwall Waverunner Safaris equipment caused by negligence, malicious acts or carelessness must be paid for at the time and at the current replacement value.
a) Complaints concerning Cornwall Waverunner Safaris or the activities should be referred to Cornwall Waverunner Safaris within seven days of the session. Cornwall Waverunner Safaris will adhere to its complaints procedures and act to do everything possible to rectify the situation. The client will receive a written reply from Cornwall Waverunner Safaris.
9. Conditions of Service
a) As part of the continual review of safety and associated considerations, the conditions of booking are subject to change, clarification and modification at any time. Only Cornwall Waverunner Safaris Manager is empowered to vary or waive any of the conditions of booking.
