Cornwall Waverunner Safaris can be found at Lusty Glaze beach, Newquay TR7 3AE, Carlyon Bay, St Austell PL25 3RG, and Newquay Harbour, North Quay TR7 1HR. We highly recommend pre-booking in advance before coming to either of our sites to participate in jet ski sessions as each site has different operating times depending on the tides.

Cornwall Waverunner Safaris supply everything you need to join one of our jet ski sessions. We would recommend that clients bring a swimming costume and towel, sunscreen and water to drink

Minimum ages for our activities:

Jet skis: 

• 8 – 12 – To go on a shared jet ski, but they MUST be sharing a jet ski with an adult (18 +) at all times.
• 12 – 15 years old – they are allowed to drive the jet ski with an adult (18 +) on the back of the ski.
• 16 & 17 years old – they are allowed to go on a solo ski but must book with an adult (18 +) who will go on the trip with them.

Surf lessons:

• 6 years old and over – able to participate in either our group or private surf lessons.
• We do ask that if the children are around the age of 6 years old that the parents or guardians are on the beach or stay nearby, if not joining them on the lesson.

RIB boat:

• The minimum age to go on our boat is 18 months old.
• They must also fit securely into one of our lifejackets.

Wet ’n’ Wild:

• The minimum age is 8 years old – due to the jet ski part of the trip.

On safaris we run the group with up to 3 people solo or 6 people shared accompanied by your instructor on a separate ski. We do have a number of machines so we can easily cater for larger groups if required  – don’t panic, just give us a call and we will see what we can arrange for you.

Cornwall Waverunner Safaris operate 7 days a week; we run a number of jet ski sessions and both Mini and Ultimate jet ski tours every day for individuals and groups so if you are coming on your own or as part of a big group, don’t worry, we will look after you.

On the Ultimate Jet Ski Safari  and Mini Jet Ski Safari clients are given a safety briefing and instruction from one of our qualified instructors. To ensure that you get the most out of your session and feel in control of the ski, we give individual tuition. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions and to see the Yamaha Waverunners in action. Once all of the group is comfortable with the jet skis and controls, your group will be lead by one of our experienced Instructor/guides. During the Mini Safari clients will cover approximately 10-12 miles of the north cornish coastline. On the Ultimate Safari clients would be looking to cover in the region of 15-20 miles of the North Cornish coastline. All sessions and safaris depart from Newquay.
