Cornwall WaveRunner Safari :

Cornwall Waverunner Safaris offer a fun and exhilarating way to explore Cornwall’s stunning coastline aboard our jet skis. We offer the thrill and excitement of jet skiing in a safe environment. During The main season Cornwall Waverunner Safaris operate our Jet Ski Safaris from Lusty Glaze beach Newquay.

Our Safaris along the Cornish coast offer a fun exhilarating way to explore the coasts of Cornwall. We run a variety of different activities including the Jet Ski Taster, Advanced and Jet Ski Safari. All of our sessions are run by trained instructors allowing you to achieve the most out of each activity.

Being based on the North Cornish coast we don’t just give you a mile of water to play in we give you the north Cornish coast with our experienced guides, who have great local knowledge. We pride ourselves on making our trips great fun for the most experienced of rider through to the complete beginner.

Our main activity is the Safaris. While on a Jet Ski Safari you can aim to cover between 15-20 miles of the coast (that’s only if you want to). We can go as fast or as slow as you like making sure that you have the time of your life.

Please note that all of the below activities can be undertaken in any order.

Taster Session:

A taster is more than it sounds. Go for a blast through the surf from Lusty Glaze and around Newquay Bay. Get a mini taste of one of our Jet Ski adventures on-board one of our powerful Yamaha Waverunner. Once instruction has been given you will be driving. No previous experience required.

Price: £36 Per Person

Advanced Session:

An Advanced session allows you to experience a longer blast around Newquay bay and the surrounding beaches including, Watergate Bay, Porth, Lusty Glaze and the famous Fistral Beach. Once instruction is given you will be driving. No experience is required.

Price: £60 Per Person

The Ultimate Jet Ski Safari Session:

The Jet Ski Safari is with no doubt our best activity. All participants are given training and a familiarisation before we go on safari. We will take a trip along the north coast viewing secluded beaches, remote coves and ride under the dramatic cliffs. Enjoy the picturesque scenery from the sea. We also have the occasional opportunity for wildlife spotting that includes, dolphins, seals, sunfish, puffins and much more. This is an awesome group activity or for those looking for an adventure. This activity is self-drive. No experience required.

Price Solo: £120 Per Person

Price Shared Ski: £90 Per Person

Banana Boat Rides:

Enjoy a blast from the past with a Banana Boat Ride around Newquay Bay. Looking for a crazy group laugh come and try the Banana Boat Ride. Every ride is different depending on client’s requirements. If you want to go faster or slower just let the driver know. The Banana Boat is a must do while in Cornwall that suits all budgets.

Price: £14 Per Person minimum of 3 people required.

Age Restrictions:

The minimum age restriction is 12 to undertake any of our activities.

What You need to bring:

Cornwall Waverunner Safaris provide all of the required equipment to undertake these activities. We recommend that if customers have their own wetsuits please bring them along. You should bring - swim wear for under the wetsuit, towel, warm clothes to change into when back onshore, water and some sunscreen if its sunny.

Cornwall Waverunner Safaris – Jet Ski Training

This (RYA)
Royal Yachting Association Course is designed to give competency for the user of Personal Water Craft (PWC) or Jet Skis. The Personal Water Craft (PWC) Course is a full day of fun and professional Jet Ski Training. This RYA course is run predominantly on the water. The Jet Ski Training will equip you with all of the essential skills and knowledge to gain a high level of proficiency as well as helping to ensure your safety and competent Jet Ski user on and off the water.

The RYA certificate is increasingly required by harbor and port authorities for the use of Jet Skis and many insurance companies offer lower insurance premiums to those who hold the certificate whilst those wishing to use jet skis abroad will be required to hold the ICC. International Certificate of Competence acquired
from the RYA on successful completion. At the end of this exhilarating and informative day you will know how to get the best out of your jet ski. No previous experience is required.

Our newest addition: Jet Ski & Green Laning Days.

Our two-day experience consists of one day discovering the hidden lanes of Cornwall in all their rocky, muddy, slippery and technical glory with a guide. Routes would be adapted as we go to suit various riding abilities. The lanes vary from muddy farm tracks to some challenging rocky climbs, but being in Cornwall there is always the scenery as well to complement the ride. A full days riding with a stop for lunch somewhere on route.

The next day will be spent on the Atlantic Ocean! The day will begin with an introduction to a Waverunnner (Jet Ski) itself, understanding the propulsion, buoyancy and steering system. Once we have decided where to go, (as we can be mobile to get the best conditions). It will be time to get suited up and hit the water!! Where you will be familiarised with the handling of the ski. This will be followed by a break for lunch then its off for an exploration of the coast and the ocean itself. Just like a wet version of the green laning, after a good roar around it will be back to base to recover the skis and a hot drink.

Our Skis are available for hire for special events such as filming. We have the ability to transport our equipment all around the country and within Europe if required.
